In plain words
What is the way for this Prema to grow? By giving and by forgiving, man becomes one whose life is Prema. So you must keep your heart ever in a state of giving to God. But today people have lost such sacred feelings and are developing only taking and forgetting. Taking the Prema of God, the grace of God, the Ānanda of God, and then moving about without due gratitude for what has been taken, man becomes selfish and falls into narrow feelings of many kinds. Yatra yogīśvara kṛṣṇo yatra pārtho dhanurdharaḥ. So said Sañjaya. Man makes efforts of many kinds to achieve Ānanda, happiness and victory in his life. But if we want to win such victory, such Ānanda, such grace, on what kind of path must we live? Where God is, there, right at God's side, one must be. Pārtha means man himself, the son of the earth. When man is at the side of God, or God at the side of man, this victory comes to us. But today neither of these two is happening at all. With the feeling that he is somewhere and God somewhere else, man is wasting his life. He does not recognise what the goal of man is. So we must recognise our goal and never forget it.
People of every country and every religion have gone on carrying out researches into this, into what the goal of man is. Because they went on doing so, religions spread in many ways. Jesus is the head of this Christian religion. Before this Jesus, two thousand years before, there lived a tribe called the Jews. With a kind of firm faith in their religion, and through sacred feeling, it went on developing under the name of Judaism. The founder of this religion was Moses. Though Moses was the founder of this religion, the guru was Rabbi. The belief that this Moses and Rabbi were teaching the world by the command of God alone was deep among these Jews. More than this, they also believed that God Himself would come in person and protect all these people of Israel. They kept waiting in the faith that the Messiah would come, and that he would protect all these people of Israel. In just such a situation there lived, in a village called Nazareth, a couple named Mary and Joseph. The jewel of a son born to the two of them was Jesus. The moment a bud is born, it does not invite everyone, the bud. But the very fragrance that comes out of that bud drew everyone's eyes to it. In the same way, after this Jesus was born, many people, little by little, came in many ways to ask after that child. The first to see Him were three Arabian kings. One king looked closely at the child and said, ‘This child will grow up to be one who loves God beyond measure.’
