In plain words
Do not let time go to waste: Do not waste time. Do not let money go to waste. Don’t waste money. Misuse of money is evil. Do not let energy go to waste. Don’t waste energy.
Embodiments of Prema! Uttering God’s Name with Prema, carrying out God’s commands with the body and living them in our life, when we regard the world itself as the form of the Lord of the world, we shall surely receive grace: we must make this faith strong. You are falling into the ignorance that thinking on the Name alone is what matters. Along with the Name, you must take part in action. That was the right answer Hanumān gave Vibhīṣaṇa. However many obstacles come in God’s work, we must pay them no heed. You can reflect on how great an example of this Hanumān is in the Rāmāyaṇa. He is a vānara. You are naras. Between a nara and a vānara there is one difference. … only one: ‘vā’ means vālam. The tail. One who has a vālam is a vānara. One who has no vālam is a nara. … the vānara is better off than the nara.
Hanumān showed an ideal life. Hanumān was calm. Virtuous. Mighty. In Rāma’s work he would forget everything. Every hair of his would speak Rāma’s Name. He would forget the body itself. That is why Rāma took him so close to Himself. Today, though we utter ‘Rām, Rām, Rām’, we do not enter into Rāma’s work at all.
So, hurting no one, letting no one fall into hardship, and not falling into hardship yourself, as far as you can: ‘Blessed is he who goes his way without hurting others and without being hurt himself, keeping clear of trouble.’ Taking this wisdom as yoga, you must make your life worthwhile.
