In plain words
This horn is inert, is it not? What is the reason this sound comes? Only the current inside. Then the engine. If you look, the nuts, bolts, screws in the engine are all working. When you start it, everything does its own work. These are only inert things, are they not? What is the reason they move like this? Only the current that is inside. In just the same way, this body is a car. These eyes are head lights; they see. Our tongue is a horn; it shouts. It speaks. Our ears are all Loud speakers. If there were no current in it, what use would it be to put in speakers? For all these there is a current inside. That itself is the Ātma. It is only by the power of this Ātma that the inert body does all its work. There is a magnet. We have dropped bits of iron beside it. If you turn that magnet this way, those bits of iron run towards it. If you turn the magnet that way, those bits of iron run that way. Bits of iron are inert, are they not? What is the basis of this running? That magnet. In just the same way, the One whose nature is the Ātma, called God, stays inside as that magnet and has all the work done by everything. Other than that, the body is inert. We decorate this inert body in many ways. However many decorations you put on, it is only a passing satisfaction; this decoration God has given cannot be changed. You may put on any number of powders. You may put on as much Snow as you like; but the colour God has given, no one can change. That alone is real. That alone is eternal. Such real and eternal divinity is in every man. This body is the very thing it has put on for the sake of each one's duty. So you must not enter on such a bad path as thinking that the body itself is eternal, that the body itself is 'I'. This body has three kinds of faults. One is that it takes what it is not to be itself, and believes what is not its own to be its own. He believes what is not eternal to be eternal and real. These, precisely, are the three faults. Man is deluded that 'I am this body'. When you think the body is yourself, why should you say 'this is my body'? The very moment you think 'my body', I am one thing and the body is another, is it not so? This is my Kerchief. My Kerchief is apart from me.
