Can they find You, Kṛṣṇa, can they find You! Subtler in form than the atom, more … than the vast, You are the Eminent One. In the eighty-four lakhs of living beings You dwell for ever, never apart, they say; from atom and speck, blade of grass and stick of wood, You shine as the Undivided Form, they say; among the great thieves You are the master thief. ||Ninu||
… thieves all carry off riches and wealth. They carry off wealth, gold, possessions and vehicles. But the master thief steals the heart itself. So even if God is called Chittachora, Baḍā Chittachora, there is only …, and no anger. If anyone calls us a thief, we get angry. But with Prema: ‘Chittachorā, Yaśodā ke bāl, Navanīta chora Gopāl’: when they say this, He laughs with joy. In this stealer of hearts Ānanda is born and …. It is hard for anyone to understand the principle of God. So when you cannot understand, it is good to keep quiet; but do not … what is senseless. So try to understand, and by worship and by bhajans try to recognise the divinity of God.
