In plain words
Self-interest has its place, but 'Naśrēyō niyamaṃ vinā': everything must have a rule. There must be a limit. Whatever work man does, whatever he thinks, whatever he says, selfishness keeps stirring outside it all. The man of today lives merely as a puppet in the hand of selfishness. Man does not take a single step forward in life without selfishness. In such a state, how can humanness attain divinity and experience it? No, no. The making of man is the making of the world.
