In plain words
So a person of any country at all can become fit to gain these.
Bhārata is richly endowed:
Bhārata is a rich country. It is the source of moral, dhārmic and spiritual wealth; for worldly life it is like Annapūrṇā. To think of so sacred a land today as a poor country is nothing but delusion. Ours is not a poor country. It is a rich country. If it were not a rich country, why did the Mughal emperors, the Turks and the Europeans come to invade it? Though there is wealth, we are unable to protect it. What is the reason? Every kind of wealth is there, but unity among the people of Bhārata has waned. They won independence, but they did not win unity. Only because there is no unity has Bhārata become the root cause of so many ills. When Ghaznī Mahmūd besieged Nagarkot in the Punjab, in Bhārata, they carried off seven hundred maunds of gold from Nagarkot on camels. When a house of silver had been built in Nagarkot, thirty yards wide and fifteen yards long, they carried that house away, foundations and all. Born though we are in so rich a land, it is a misfortune that we cannot bring these rich feelings to birth in ourselves. Whatever work you look at, selfishness and self-interest are dancing wildly. Embodiments of Prema! Let us give up selfishness. We must take up unity. We must find our joy in the unity of the country.
Bhārata, a sacred land, a mighty land:
You truly need to recognise how sacred a land Bhārata is. There is not one thing that this sacred land does not have. 'Enna Bhārate tanna Bhārate.' Thus. Things, traditions and cultures that are not in Bhārata, we cannot see in any other country. Though every power is present in such a land of Bhārata, we think of ourselves as powerless. This is nothing but our own delusion. Only when this delusion is driven away can we experience true Ānanda. Only when bhrama is driven away does Brahman become manifest to us.
With the good fortune called the land of Bhārata ours, why should we seek any other power? With the golden mountains of Hindu Dharma ours, why should we seek the Ocean of Milk?
