Passage 1

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

“In the Lord of the universe, just as the whole universe shines, so too His Prema shines forth, pervading the universe. The friendship of that One whose form is the cosmos itself must be called a bond that cannot be broken. This word is a true word; it is just that! It is Sai's word. In the world we see, “the Caitanya of the One whose form is the Ātma” shines unseen, like the thread inside a string of gems. In just the same way, the Prakṛti of the Paramātma, in this form of “Prajotpatti”, pervades the universe and is spread through it.”

Embodiments of Prema!

Those who see the visible world only as the world are the unlettered. This is ordinary sādhana. To recognise the world with the vision of the Paramātma is a special sādhana of Viveka. “Sarvaṃ khalvidaṃ brahma”, “viśvaṃ viṣṇusvarūpaṃ”: on the strength of these words of the Veda, we must believe that the whole world is the form of the Paramātma. In the eyes of the people of Bhārata there is not one thing that is not the Paramātma. But some ignorant people, unable to recognise this holy truth, mock the people of Bhārata, saying they worship trees, anthills, hills, cows, snakes and birds. Yet the divinity in man that recognises the principle of truth is wasting away. In no country and in no religion is this kind of social justice to be seen anywhere.

Raise your vision upward

Within man three principles are held: animality, humanness and divinity. The first, at the lowest level, is animality. This animal nature looks always at the earth, at what lies below. It keeps its whole gaze turned downward.
