Passage 10

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

It mocks the very one who taught it, it topples the very one who fed it, it does harm to the very one who did it good: this is progress in today's education.

What is this progress. No. No. Gratitude is the chief prāṇa of man. From whomever we have received any good, to them we must offer gratitude all our life. We must honour the gurus. We must love mother and father. We must regard our fellow men as men and grow close bonds of kinship with them. If there is no such harmonious feeling, what is the essence of these studies? Along with studies we must grow saṃskāra too. From tomorrow let us receive the right goods for saṃskāra.
