In plain words
This itself is the fine ideal. Dogs too roam about the bazaar. What use is it to go there and roam about with such toil? It is no different from dogs. They do not even come home properly. Roaming about outside, they eat somewhere like a dog, in a hotel or at a friend's house, and lie about in the friend's house like a dog. Is this the worth of our education? Is this the honour of education? Shame! Shame! We must not be slaves to anyone, but to God alone. One goes along with a friend to his house for a meal. Your friend says politely, ‘Come on, brother!’ How are that friend's parents within? ‘Who is this wretch! He goes about trailing after our boy. Must we serve him what we have cooked for ourselves?’ So they curse within. If such bad feelings are not to arise in them, we must not go to anyone's house. Many children are just like that! One day, two days, sitting about in friends' houses: this is how they keep going. Not only this; remember it well! In those friends' houses there are their sisters and all. In that way, to a great extent, they are earning a bad name. Only see that such things do not come about! Today I am telling you this plainly. First he goes with the friend to their house and sits on and on; later he goes when the friend is not there. As a result, all sorts of crazy thoughts grow. This is very wrong. In this way they earn a bad name. Only do not earn such a bad name!
The mind is always pure!
You do not know what gems Swami's teachings are. Even parents will not tell you like this. I tell even such small matters in such a great way. All these are for your own good, not for Me. Recognise this Satya and act on it. You will become good, ideal students and earn still more worth for Bhārata. You speak of a bad mind. There is no such thing as a bad mind.
