In plain words
Better that such sons should die than be born. They are taking away their parents' honour and destroying the good name of the country. Whether in the studies they pursue or the jobs they do, they strive only to increase wealth, friendships and strength, but they do not let kindness, Prema and the divine principle into their minds in the least. What is this wealth? However much strength one has, what use is it? This strength, this wealth, these friendships are not lasting.
Though one has strength of Buddhi and strength of arm, without the strength of God he becomes wretched; what became of a man as great as Karṇa in the end? Forget not this good word.
He had strength of arm, strength of Buddhi and strength of learning, as much as he needed. But simply because he lost the strength of God, he fell into that plight. So the root cause of the troubles in the country today is the mother, the father and the teachers!
Without moral and spiritual values, humanness turns into nothing but demonhood
The teachers of today, too, do not punish the student. Simply because students meet no punishment, their antics go beyond all bounds. When students take to wicked ways, the fruit of that sin is the teachers' own! They do not teach the right path. They merely give some acquaintance with books; they do not teach the principle of Vijñāna, Sujñāna and Prajñāna, or the way to conduct oneself well, with humility and obedience. Without moral value and spiritual value, humanness can only be called demonhood. Only one who lives in the oneness of these three, body, Manas and Ātma, is a human being. One who follows the body alone and lives seeking only the pleasures of the body and senses is no more than a wild animal or a beast.
