In plain words
When sufferings of any kind come, remember within your mind. In the mind itself, develop the good! When you are like this, your life becomes an ideal life. That is what matters.
Swami's wish is that you all earn a good name!
Because there is no ideal life in the country today, the country is losing in every way. All the big leaders are shouting ‘unity, unity’ and giving speeches. Where is unity? This party against that party, that party against this party, abusing one another, fighting one another! Then where is unity to come from? Wherever all our people go, they must win unity. You have seen it; there is the flute, is there not! Kṛṣṇa blows it. If anything blocks this flute, it will not give a good note. Only when the hole is clear does a good note come out beautifully. If anything like the vāsanās for sense objects, kāma and krodha, envy, hatred, pride and possessiveness gets into the flute called the body, what becomes of that flute? This body itself is a flute. Just as the flute has nine holes, our body too has nine holes. Our breathing in and breathing out is the breath of that Kṛṣṇa. So-ham, so-ham. That is the principle of God. If the things we do are right deeds, a good, melodious song is heard. With such a song, anyone at all experiences Ānanda. We must think of our breath as the breath of God. We must take our body itself as a flute. This is the ideal life. If we let this song be heard, the whole world is lost in it. It is enraptured. It experiences the sacred principle of the Ātma. So all of you, earn a fine name as far as you can. Bring a good name to the parents who bore you, to the husband you married, to your parents-in-law. That is My wish! That is My one wish! Earn a good name! Wherever you may be, Swami is right behind you, right beside you.
