In plain words
Money is needed, but it must not be too much.
The money gathered from the people must be put to good use for the people alone
The money we took from the people must be spent on those very people. You say the officer gave you your salary. Who gave it to this officer? It came to the officer from the bank, they say. Who gave it to the bank? It is all the people's money! Wherever you look, it is the people's money that is being gathered. What was gathered from the people must be put to good use for the people alone. That is my resolve. ‘Sai Baba is spending crores upon crores on the drinking water project,’ people think. Sai Baba does not have a single coin there. I am giving to the people only what the people have given. I have nothing that is my own. I have only one thing that is my own, and that is my great property! What is it? My children are my property. If my children are a right ideal, that is enough for me. So, with the same joy and enthusiasm with which all the children entered these games and songs and won prizes, I hope that in the days ahead, in life, you will take the command of God upon your heads, win through it the love of God, receive the grace of God's glance, and through that live in happiness and Śānti and grow into ideal students; and hoping so and blessing you, I bring my talk to a close. Only do not let go of Prema. There is no wealth greater than Prema. Prema has no price at all. With such Prema, spend your life in joy.
