In plain words
What is creation? Creation is the very image of Īśvara's will! Its name is Prakṛti. Every creature that has come forth from this Prakṛti must have the very nature of Prakṛti. Man is the one who has taken form in this world to make known the power of this Prakṛti. The bond with Prakṛti and the power of Prakṛti are not the same in everyone. This consciousness of Prakṛti is distorted for one who lives with the body-feeling, for one given to Ahaṅkāra. For one given to the Ātma it becomes good. Prakṛti and consciousness are one and the same. It is according to each one's outlook and each one's feelings that this good and bad grow. This world has a name: ‘lōka’. What does lōka mean? The power joined with thought, they said, is lōka. Many people are in this place now. All of them are in the one place. But each one's world is different. What is the reason? One thinks about learning. Another thinks about business. Another thinks about farming. Some others inquire into science. In all of these, the moral, the physical, the spiritual and the worldly, every feeling is the working of one's resolves! So creation, sustenance and dissolution are powers that lie within man himself! Creation is only the form of a resolve! Sustenance is protecting that form! Dissolution is taking what has been protected back into oneself! To this creation, sustenance and dissolution they gave the names rajoguṇa, tamoguṇa and sāttvika. Man's very form is made of the three guṇas. These three guṇas are the trident. This trident is the Trimūrti. This Trimūrti is the three worlds. So the three worlds and the three forms too have taken shape in every human being. In this world there is no one who has seen those called Brahmā, Viṣṇu and Maheśvara as forms. Who is Brahmā? Who is Viṣṇu? Who is Maheśvara? The three guṇas in man are themselves these forms of the Trimūrti.
