In plain words

In this science we can make many researches. We must make these researches with Prema alone. Without Prema, research is not possible. What is this research? What are you doing it for? Whom are you doing it for? Why are you doing it? How are you doing it? Ask yourself this. The Ātma itself stands witness to it. This they called the conscience. Your feelings must be pure. This has been the root cause of so many researches from ancient times. In everything there is a magnet. The attraction power of that magnet. God is the form of that power of attraction. It is in every human being. But in God it is a hundred per cent. That is why it draws the whole world in that way. When we join such a magnet, we too become a magnet. The knower of Brahman becomes Brahman itself. If you put a piece of iron near a magnet, it clings to it. If you keep that piece of iron near the magnet just so, on the third day the piece of iron turns into a magnet. This is true research. If you stay close to God, when you are close to the Prema of God, you yourself turn into God. You become God. So we need not do any sādhanas to attain divinity. Feelings of Prema should arise in us. That itself turns into divinity.

Yesterday the Vice-Chancellor, the students and all of us met and talked together. "Swami!" "It is our good fortune," they said. "What does adṛṣṭa mean?" "good luck," they said. What does "good luck" mean? They went on saying "a good gain" and all sorts of things. But that is not adṛṣṭa. What the sight cannot see is adṛṣṭa. That is divinity. The sight cannot see it. That adṛṣṭa brings everything. It grants every attainment. It makes the physical, mental and spiritual principles blossom too. It lights up the material, the worldly and the spiritual too. It lights up the knowledge of Dharma and of morals. That is the sight of God. Adṛṣṭa does not mean good luck. If that adṛṣṭa is to come, it must come only through the Prema of God. There is nothing that surpasses that Prema. This Prema is in everyone. But what kind of Prema? It is not worldly Prema. It is Prema without selfishness. In the Prema of husband and wife there is selfishness. In the Prema of brothers there is selfishness. In the Prema of mother and child there is selfishness. All these are worldly Prema. The Prema of God, heart to heart, is there always. It is what never changes. It comes only through Prema.
