In plain words

Yadārtha means Truth. Truth is God. So the sun, which gives light everywhere, is the true God. So from ancient times the people of Bhārata have practised worship of the sun. They have been doing Sūrya Namaskāras. They have regarded the sun as the visible God. Everything can stand in the world only because of the sun. So today we need the moon's light by night. The sun's light by day. The light of the three worlds is Dharma. The light of the family is a good son. We do not become good sons just by studying. There must be good conduct in behaviour, in bearing. good behaviour, good manners, good discipline, good devotion. That is most important. If there is that devotion, good things alone keep coming, any number of them.

Today the world has been building up three positions: Dvaita, Viśiṣṭādvaita and Advaita. Madhvācārya propounded Dvaita, Rāmānujācārya Viśiṣṭādvaita and Śaṅkarācārya Advaita. Dvaita: here each thing stays as it is. One has no connection with another. But there is not much difference between Viśiṣṭādvaita and Advaita. Whatever the caste, whatever the lineage, whatever the country, whatever the religion, whatever the tradition, Satya appears as one. Sugar cane has bend upon bend. Sugar cane has a bend. But the juice inside, or its taste, has no bend. So drawing the juice from every sugar cane and mixing it: this has been called Advaita. The whole of the sugar cane juice has been called Advaita. Anywhere in this sugar cane, sweetness alone comes. There is no second taste. Then Rāmānuja enquired well. How long can sugar cane juice be kept? Seeing that it could not last long, he turned the sugar cane juice into sugar. Once turned into sugar, it can be put into anything, at any time, anywhere. So sugar juice is Advaita. Sugar is Viśiṣṭādvaita. A special Advaita. It lasts for ever. It can be used in anything. Madhvācārya said, ‘O God! I will not become sugar. I do not want sugar juice; I must be born as an ant that eats sugar and sugar juice. Sugar does not know the taste of sugar. But one who eats sugar knows the taste of sugar. You are the embodiment of Prema. So I must not be Prema as well.
