In plain words

We should not forget it.

Your mind may go where it pleases. But you must not move. The mind is your servant. You are no servant of the mind. You should not be a slave to your mind. You must be a slave to God. Tyāgarāja said, 'I must become the servant of Your servants; I must serve Your servants, nothing less!' Morning and evening I am Your servant. Not only Your servant: I am the servant of the servants of Your servants. There is a teaching in the Bhāgavata. Kucela took a handful of flattened rice. Kṛṣṇa Himself untied with His own hands the flattened rice in that soiled cloth. Kucela was overcome with shame. 'My clothes are not fit to be touched. Such a pauper am I. God is an emperor. He is touching my clothes. How painful! What a sinner I am!' Kṛṣṇa put some of the flattened rice into His mouth. A little was left. Rukmiṇī came running and held His hand. Kucela took it another way. He thought she was stopping Him, saying He should not touch what came out of these soiled clothes, which He was eating. But Kṛṣṇa knew Rukmiṇī's heart. So that Kucela would understand: 'Rukmiṇī, why did you hold My hand? Since I am Kucela's servant, I have accepted part of the prasād Kucela brought!' Then Rukmiṇī said, 'Kṛṣṇa! You are Kucela's servant. I am Your servant. So the servant has a share, has she not? So give me what is left,' she said. How vast are the ways of God! How great are the resolves of God! But these people, unable to understand, take them very lightly. God has a very large heart. No one else has that heart. That heart comes to none but God. Then Kucela understood. He went home and looked. He looked at all the mansions. His wife and children appeared rich with great wealth. His wife came running and held his feet. 'Lord! How compassionate God is, how large-hearted! No one else has His greatness. What did He say to you? What did He tell you?' So she asked question upon question. 'Devī!

As soon as He knew I had come, He commanded through the doorkeepers, "Come quickly"; the moment He saw me He came down from His seat at once, and with a smiling face drew me close; beginning, He looked me up and down as if His face had swollen, and held me fast in His embrace; what shall I say of His humility! Eating a handful of poor Kucela's flattened rice, is there any who gives such great fortune? Prema itself is He, and He Himself becomes Prema.'
