In plain words
Wealth, gold, things and vehicles only come and go. Yet these too are needed in the world.
From the smallest matter to the biggest, I see to everything Myself. You cannot know this. You keep thinking, "He did not even speak to me." However small the matter, I call the warden and ask him. Though I have so many kinds of responsibility, I ask after every boy. But children without this broad heart think, "He did not look my way." I am looking at everyone. The boy who spoke just now said, "One mother has gone; the Prema of a thousand mothers has been gained." Who can speak with such courage? That is why, at the start, he said "my mother sai". Such faith alone protects them and brings them victory in every way. The principle of Prema draws victory to it. So foster the one principle of Prema. If you foster this principle of Prema, you can win victory in every way.
One thing more. You must keep this discipline. I told you yesterday: Speak to people with Prema. Converse with Prema. Do not use harsh words, I said. For some months the discipline in Prasanthi Nilayam has declined. The commotion of the people who get up the moment the bhajan is over is dreadful. When I have selected and gone to the room of wishes, the people on the verandah and those outside get up as if in a market, and it is one great commotion. After the gathering, you must go away reflecting on the things Swami said in it, not go away chattering. Women on this side, men on that side, they go off in an uproar. One single noise: talk, talk. Not only in this compound, not only in Prasanthi Nilayam, not on any single road: nowhere should you talk too much. Discipline is like our shadow. Wherever you go, your discipline must follow right with you, like your shadow. You must keep it not only in this compound but also on the road outside. What God expects above all is discipline. When you go away after this gathering ends, you must be silent. After the bhajan you must go away in silence. After you get home, you can talk about the affairs of the house. In any place, not only in Prasanthi Nilayam, in places outside too, there is no call for talk. By talk we spoil the divine power.
