In plain words
With such longing, with such fervour, with such ardour, they went on praying to God. That very heart melts Kṛṣṇa. It moves Him. It stirs Him. Today devotion is nowhere, deep ocean. Remembering, contemplating and singing the sweet Name of God, we must make our time worthwhile. Bhajan came into being for this. Long ago Guru Nanak started community bhajans. Joining the voices of all into one, drawing God with one voice. Bhajans began in order to invite the oneness in the many. Inviting God is not for one alone. All are inviting God in chorus.
Keeping our ancient culture in view at least to some extent, we must offer to Paramātma the holy feelings that arise from every heart. God is the embodiment of Prema. For that Prema, only Prema is needed. To see the shining moon there is no need to switch on a torch. Still less is a hurricane lantern needed. You must see the shining moon only by the moon's light. So if you want to see the One whose form is Prema, you must see Him only through Prema. There is no other light in this world beyond Prema. What lights that light is the tongue alone.
Prema is our mother. Satya is our father. Compassion is the sister. Ānanda is the brother. When there is such kinship, why should we foster a needless kinship? Remember how much greatness there is in oneness. Dharmarāja, Arjuna, Bhīma, Nakula and Sahadeva were five brothers. When the five were united, what victory they won! Not only that. Rāma, Lakṣmaṇa, Bharata and Śatrughna lived in unity. Unity itself won the victory. Vāli and Sugrīva, the two, were brothers; because there was no unity between the two of them, what came of it? It all came to ruin. In the end mighty Vāli died. Rāvaṇa and Kumbhakarṇa were brothers too. There was no unity. Vibhīṣaṇa went apart. Through unity we can achieve anything. There are five fingers. If we work with them as one, we can do anything. With each finger alone we can do nothing.
Students! All of you, strive for unity. We are all in one Sai institution. All are growing up in Sai's Prema. You are studying Sai education.
