In plain words

Who are Śiva and Keśava? Human beings! He who has life is Śiva. He who has no life is a śava. Śiva means man! Tyāgarāja said it another time. What? Every single thing is the power of God. Walking, talking, reading, writing are all powers of God! Once, Tyāgarāja grew a little weary. Tyāgarāja's elder brother Raghunātha threw into the Kāverī the images his younger brother worshipped every day. If we want to fill ourselves with God's Prema, we must make the vessel of the heart large. ‘Rāma! What is this, causing me these troubles? Is there no Bhakti in me, or is there no power in You?’ he grieved. Again: ‘If there were truly Bhakti in me, would Rāma have left me and gone? If the power were really in You, would You put me through these troubles?’ he lamented. With ‘There is no power in You; there is Bhakti in me,’ he gave Ahaṅkāra its opening. ‘There is Bhakti in me. There is no moment when I do not think of You. There is no minute when I do not pray to You. There is no time when I do not worship You. It is in You that there is no power,’ he concluded. What is this like? Unable to dance, he shouted at the drummer, as they say! Afterwards he prayed. He reasoned within himself a while: ‘Chī! The mistake is mine. Rāma is mighty beyond measure,’ he thought. Then he says:

Would a monkey cross the ocean? Would a young woman bind Him to a mortar? Would Lakṣmī Devī love Him? Would Lakṣmaṇa serve Him? Would Bharata of subtle mind look and look again and bow down? Ah, how great Bhakti for Rāma is!

“Without Your power, how did a monkey cross so vast an ocean? It crossed by remembering the Name alone, saying ‘Rām Rām’. Who is Lakṣmī Devī? The whole world worships Lakṣmī. There is no one who does not desire her. Would such a Lakṣmī Devī serve You? Swāmī! If there were no power in You, why would she serve You? How great Your power is, Rāma! We are fools who cannot understand it.
