In plain words
What is in every atom is Divinity itself! You must come to the truth, ‘I am that very principle of the atom.’ If you go on thinking in this way, ‘This is my body, this is my mind, this is my citta,’ when will you ever recognise, ‘I myself am God’? Body, mind, citta, Buddhi: instruments, you are the Master. That is the Ātma. This Ātma is everywhere.
All that is seen is the form of God!
Brahman and the Ātma, the two are one! Brahman is the very form of the vast. What grows ever wider is Brahman. What pervades everywhere is Brahman. Prahlāda said this even in those days. Prahlāda was the son of Hiraṇyakaśipu. Virocana was the son of Prahlāda. The son of Virocana is Bali Cakravarti, whose holy day we keep today. That whole line came as the very form of supreme sacrifice. Embodiments of Dharma, embodiments of sacrifice, lovers of Ānanda. He comes in succession from such a line. Virocana went on making great sacrifices in ruling his kingdom. He looked on the people's comfort as his own comfort. Just before this the Minister said, ‘Service to the people is service to Janārdana.’ Virocana did service in those days. After him, Virocana's son Bali Cakravarti did it too. What are we to learn? Many people gathered round the Buddha and said, ‘You have done sādhana for so long; teach us something of Divinity.’ Then He kept silent. In matters of God, no one has any room for argument and counter-argument. What do you know, that you come forward to argue? God is in yes, and He is in no. He is in Dharma, He is in Adharma, He is in Satya, He is in Asatya. How is it possible to argue for and against about God, who is everywhere? Do not make the slightest attempt at argument of this kind. Time is wasted. It is foolishness. God is the embodiment of Dharma. God is the embodiment of Satya. God is the embodiment of Ahiṃsā. That is why the Vedānta of Bhārata has been teaching, ‘Satyaṃ vada, dharmaṃ cara’. They said, ‘Practise Dharma, speak Satya, keep to Ahiṃsā; this is the chief form of God.’
