In plain words
He is the embodiment of Ānanda. With such a feeling you must go on contemplating constantly. In whatever way you contemplate, that form becomes manifest. What is cleanliness of the body? God's body is everywhere. You must do Him fitting service. Whatever He needs, we must go on keeping clean. Where does He walk about? Where does He lie down to sleep? To give Him what suits Him, to offer Him food, to do Him proper service: this, they said, is cleanliness of the body. Cleanliness of the Ātma? ‘Sarvataḥpāṇipādaṃ..’ There is no place where He is not. Whomever you serve, is it not done to the Ātma? With whomever you enjoy Ānanda, that same is Ānanda with God. True Ānanda is with God; it is not to be had with others. Mother, father, wife, children: all these are momentary joys. But eternal Ānanda is with God alone. You must serve such Ānanda. That is service of the Ātma. If we go on developing such humanness in daily life, there is truly no other divinity greater than ourselves. You are all embodiments of God! Believing that truth, we must keep remembering the form of God and the qualities of God alone.
