In plain words
They see good men and make light of them; what do such men lack on this earth?! Seeing an elephant, many a dog will bark; what is taken from its greatness?
Embodiments of the divine Ātma!
Every object that meets the eye in the ordinary way has certain colours. But we think those colours are natural to that object. No, no. The root cause of these changes of colour is the change in our own feelings. Look at the sky, and it is blue; look at the sea, and it is blue. We say that the sky and the sea are blue. This is quite wrong. The sea is not blue in colour. The sky is not of a blue hue. Because it is so very far away, that colour appears to our eyes. The sea too looks blue because it is so fathomlessly deep. When you go near and take it in your hand, there is no colour. It is simply white. The colours we imagined are not to be seen at all. In the same way, all good and bad rest on our beliefs and on our feelings.
All beings come forth from the divine Ātmatattva itself
The true colour is not what meets our eyes. The true form is not what is seen. Current is born from water. Through electric power we enjoy benefits of many kinds. But we do not see the current. Through the current that comes forth from water, many uses are served, but the current itself is not seen.
