In every way this system of education is breaking apart. Day by day the values in the system of education are declining. They use education merely as a field of business. And in medical and engineering studies the business keeps growing greater still. I do not understand what joy students find in spending lakhs upon lakhs and obtaining these degrees. First, students must themselves take part in the activities their daily life needs. We must develop the general knowledge and commonsense that are in us. For us practical knowledge is the chief standard. In today's studies nothing but an acquaintance with books is to be seen. There is no fragrance at all in it. Through studies like these, many in the world today take many wrong roads and waste their lives in bad habits, bad company and wicked ways.

Students! You must try to recognise the sacred culture of Mother Bharata and live by it. You were born in Bhārata. The air you breathe is Mother Bharata's air. The water you drink is Mother Bharata's water itself! The whole life you live is nothing but Mother Bharata's wealth. Following in the mother's footsteps and entering the sacred path, you must take part in fitting service to society.
