In plain words
Even if you are not pure always, if you are pure at least in the pūjā room, that sacred Prema comes to you. In the world there are ever so many who give talks. There are ever so many great souls who give talks that melt the heart and move it. But what is the use? They merely pass the time with talks, but practice is nil. Ānanda lies in practice. There is no Ānanda in preaching. Rather than giving tons and tons of talks, drink one ounce of Prema. Only then is that attainment gained.
The Prema of God shows you the way like a lighthouse
Embodiments of Prema! If you truly want Bhakti, take refuge in divine Prema. If your hunger is to end, cooling both your torment and your sin, eat that divine Prema. You have fallen into despair and dejection through worldly pains and hardships. For man, wasting away through unceasing toil, endless anxieties, boundless desires and an anguish he cannot understand, what truly quenches the thirst is this Prema alone! The Prema of God is like a lighthouse. It alone is what shows you the way. When does it show the way! If Prema is on one side and you travel the other way, you cannot attain this Prema. You must travel only toward the lighthouse. In the boat called life you have loaded the burden and the responsibilities called saṃsāra. But however many troubles there may be, steer the boat toward Prema alone. You will surely reach the goal. You will win victory. You will be blessed.
Fill your heart with God; do your work with your hands!
Embodiments of Prema! Today you need not do any sādhanas. We do dhyāna: dhyāna for whom? He who is the very form of dhyāna is within you. For whom are you doing dhyāna? What must you meditate on? Meditate on Prema alone. Turn your Manas toward Prema alone, without a break. You may doubt, ‘If it is like that, how will our household duties get done?’
