Passage 17

In plain words

God gave us two hands for that very purpose. Otherwise, is one hand not enough to do a job? Of the two hands, one is the right, one the left. Do the service of transient Prakṛti too. With one hand do the karma that is eternal and true. But before God, join the two hands as one. Only then does manyness turn into oneness. That itself is namaskāra. Doing both kinds of work, the worldly and the spiritual, we must offer the oneness of the two to divinity. I very much hope that, keeping God in your thoughts and believing every action to be God's work, your life will turn into an ideal life. The Head alone is not what matters. The Head gives all kinds of useless things. The Heart alone is of use to us. It gives everything. Head responsibility, heart right. So we must fight for the right. Responsibility lasts as long as you are in college, as long as you are in the hostel. After you leave college, there is no responsibility. But the heart is not like that. Stay in the hostel, stay in college, stay in the bazaar, go anywhere: your right stays right. We must go on following the heart that is not bound by the three times.
