If that man has no human values in him, how then can he be a man? The form is a human form. But if there are no human qualities in it, what is the use?
Man must first of all practise Satya and Dharma. If at some time there is an obstacle to telling the truth, do not tell the truth, and do not tell an untruth either. We must live such a life in this world. Today many calamities are befalling the world. The young must take a vow to drive them from this whole world, to fight them and to establish peace and security. If the young women and young men do not take this vow today, the country will be ruined. If even one becomes good, you can make any amount of progress. Thousands of people have come. If even a few of them become good, they can do any number of good deeds. To set the country right, thousands are not needed. There are thousands of soldiers, but there is only one commander-in-chief. It is enough if one man is virtuous. You can bring about any amount of progress. Vivekānanda said, ‘If I find ten good people, that is enough: I will set the world right.’ Vivekānanda said ten. I do not want ten. It is enough if I find one good man. Ekaṃ sat. Om ityekākṣaraṃ brahma. One is enough; the world can change. Put down a one, and however many zeros you put after it, the value goes up. I is here. world is zero. If you put a zero beside a one, it becomes ten. life is zero, sun is zero, moon is zero, earth is zero, sky is zero: when you put down all these zeros, the value climbs as high as you like. Why? Because the hero went beside it, the zero gained value. Take away the hero, and everything has become zero. So that hero is god.
Believe in such a God. Take refuge in that God. Seek shelter in God. That is the true sādhana. Merely saying, without doing, is of no use. You become one who has deceived yourself. So try to do what you say. Begin the Name of God in every street. Begin the Name of God in every village. Then, through the remembrance of the Name of God, a sacred atmosphere will arise in the whole country. I hope that you will make the country pure through the Name of God and shape it into a divine land.
