But do japa, do dhyāna, in a worldly way. Do bhajan, by all means. By performing such good actions you become those who have made their actions worthwhile. Time too is very important. Time is the form of the Paramātma. To make that time too worthwhile, good actions are most necessary. But there is no use if we sit performing these actions alone. All these actions are physical. One must go on performing actions joined with a divine heart. Only then shall we be free of all kinds of illnesses. Because illnesses begin, unrest begins. Through that, Ānanda too dwindles. You must be healthy, you must be happy. How do the two, healthy and happy, come? When you fill your heart with sacred feeling, you will be healthy happy. We must see that bad feelings do not enter our heart at all. I have no hatred of any kind for anyone. So no one has hatred for me. To me everyone is full of Prema. Everyone is an embodiment of Prema. Everyone must be well. Everyone must experience Ānanda alone. Because that broad feeling is in me, so many people come to me. Without that broadness of feeling, if I were only selfish, people from country after country would not come for nothing. In me, from foot to head, it is selflessness, selflessness. No trace of selfishness. Even if something appears selfish to you, it is for your sake, not for mine. I have no desires of any kind. The one desire I have is this. May all the worlds be happy. Everyone must be happy. All must be people of good qualities. Everyone must become full of Prema. Everyone must experience Ānanda. What more is there to want than this? Man, though, is worthy of Ānanda. He is worthy of Śānti. But he is unable to take up enough Prema and faith. If you write the address on an envelope and there is no stamp, it does not go. If you stick on the stamp and do not write the address, it does not go. So stick on the stamp called Prema, write the address called faith, and post it; it will go any distance. When those two, faith and Prema, are absent, however big an envelope you write, it cannot go even a step. These two, faith and Prema, are enough. Prema and faith in Swami are the main thing.
