Passage 16

In plain words

He is diverting it in this way; it is not that there is no love. So all are embodiments of Prema. All are embodiments of God. So you are God; there is no need to long for God. But as long as you think you are a man, you must long for God. When you know that feeling, you need long for nothing else. Everything yours. You are monument of Love. You are monument of Peace. You are monument of Truth. You are monument of GOD. That is why you are not someone separate. You and He are one, one. ‘Ekaṃ sat viprā bahudhā vadanti’

So, Embodiments of Prema! All of you, in whatever situation, do not give up Prema. Do not send Prema along another path. Experience Prema through Prema alone. So you will attain the principle of Prema. You will experience Prema everywhere. You yourselves will become embodiments of Prema. So what we must know is that we must grow the principle of Prema. By this Prema alone Satya, Dharma, Śānti, everything, comes into being. So if we want to nourish Satya, we must nourish it with Prema alone. If you bring a seed, put it in a pot, pour water on it and try to grow it, that seed will rot. If this seed is to put out a plant, you must sow it in the earth itself. Sowing it in the earth, pouring water. Surely that plant will grow into a tree. In just the same way, where must we sow this principle of Prema? If you keep it in your hand, no plant will come. If you keep it on your feet, no plant will come. Only when it is sown in the soil of the heart does it grow into a plant. In the soil of the heart itself it grows into a tree, and in that very soil it gives fruit too. So experience the principle of Prema. That itself is the principle of Jñāna, that itself is the principle of Satya, that itself is the principle of Dharma.
