In plain words
In the universe the Lord shines forth; in the Lord the universe ever shines; if the Lord did not shine, the universe would not shine; the friendship of the universe and the Lord is eternal.
Embodiments of Prema!
The universe is the cause. The universe is the effect. The Lord is the doer. No one can explain the bonds of kinship that exist between creation and the Creator. This world is nothing but the relation of cause and effect. In such a universe, wherever we look, there is divinity alone and no other substance. The whole world of the moving and the unmoving is nothing but the form of God; it is not anything else. The universe is the form of Viṣṇu. Though it appears in many forms and names, it is only the form of Viṣṇu. Unable to recognise this divinity that is the very form of the universe, we think of it as merely a natural, worldly, physical universe, and fall prey to despair and dejection of many kinds. Every man struggles with ceaseless effort, with unresting effort, with ceaseless striving, with endless hopes, with griefs beyond understanding, after what he has not got, and in the end he meets with dejection. The reason is that he himself stays at the negative level. The whole universe stays at the positive level. Only through the oneness of the two, negative and positive, is divinity attained.
Joys and sorrows are the fruits of karma
No one does a bad deed and receives good; no one does a good deed and meets with harm; plant the neem, and will you gain the mango fruit? Plant the mango, and can you obtain the neem?
