Passage 6

In plain words

The peace and security needed to govern the world are present in women most of all. This feeling of sacrifice and these feelings of Prema overflow in them. On some occasion, according to time and circumstance, a little anger may come; but those are only passing, they do not spring from the heart. Though both men and women have fitting qualities, in women the best qualities, the ideal qualities and the qualities of joy are found in greater measure.

Women's Day on the nineteenth of every month

When we look into the holy story of Sāvitrī, to bring back to life her husband whose life had gone, she fought in every way, even with Yama, and won back her husband's life. But nowhere in history is it seen that any man, even a single one, tried to bring a dead wife back to life. The moment the wife dies, they are ready for a second marriage. But wives are not like that. In this modern age such distorted ideas have grown, and by ways that go against women they have been causing women all these hardships. So, to uphold this holy ancient Dharma and culture of ours, they have set up the nineteenth of every month as the day of women. But it is not merely laid down: many women have followed it, rejoiced in it, and given it the enthusiasm and encouragement it deserves. Many are taking part in this field. When there is progress of this kind, Bhārata will take shape as a country that is an ideal for all. This Dharma, this culture, holy justice and the ideal must grow through women alone; there is no chance of it happening through men. These women alone are the heirs of the ancient culture. The reason is this: from ancient times women have taken a vow to toil for the uplift of the country in many ways. Gita Reddy said: all the great chaste wives showed the ideal in full measure; Jhānsī Rāṇī fought a fierce battle.
