In plain words
There is a mirror in our house. You have gone and stood in front of the mirror. As you stand there, your reflection appears in the mirror. You, the reflection and the mirror: there are three. But of these three, if you take that mirror away, the reflection goes too. Only the original remains. That itself is ‘Ekaṃsat viprā bahudhā vadanti’. So, for us to recognise divinity, our delusion about the body must gradually die down. This thing called the body is like a mirror; in it the jīva principle is there as the reflection. What is the root basis of these reflections? The Ātma principle itself, which is the original. The jīva and God are one and the same, but only the mirror appears, standing in between. In this mirror called the world we see many forms. That mirror too is only clay. That too simply belongs to Prakṛti. This Prakṛti too is God's own form; when everything is the form of God, there is no room at all for difference. With just this in view, the ancient paṇḍitas said, ‘Ekaṃ sat viprā bahudhā vadanti’. What exists is only one, yet people have gone on thinking of it as many. So do not divide the one into many; what is needed is to believe the many to be one.
Embodiments of Prema! That you are embodiments of Prema means that you have taken it on as a form. The Prema that is in everyone is one alone. If we make this thing called Prema our basis, everything emerges in this very Prema. There is no other principle that is without Prema. Love is GOD, Live in LOVE. This divinity is nothing but Prema. This Prema has no beginning and no end. He is subtler than the atom. He is greater than the greatest. So for us to divide such a thing and think of it as separate is not the right meaning. What is everywhere is the principle of Prema alone. All forms are nothing but forms of Prema. All paths are nothing but paths of Prema. All sādhanas too are nothing but sādhanas of Prema. All goals too are Prema alone. In this endless world, in the whole of humankind, what exists is one Prema alone. So we must experience this principle of Prema.
