In plain words
Where? Sarvadā sarvakāleṣu sarvatra brahma cintanaṃ. At all times, in every period, in every circumstance: for us to attain such divinity, this is the right path; we need not travel the world. We need not spend money. We must not go travelling, taking such trouble, falling into all kinds of hardship and wasting money, in the hope of seeing divinity.
You yourselves are embodiments of God. Think of yourselves in that way. Gradually: who is Kṛṣṇa? You yourselves. Who is Rāma? You yourselves. Who is Īśvara? You yourselves. Who is Viṣṇu? You yourselves. Everything is you alone. So all these are only names that were given, not names you were born with. All your names were given by your parents. The body is what your parents gave. But what did God give? That itself is the heart. No one can be without it. It is not in our control. Hence, names given to this body. The forms given to the shape of the body are simply the gifts of the parents, but the heart no one can give. It simply arises naturally. This heart is the principle of all. It is not something taken from one person, nor something given to another. We must try to give this heart. But in giving this heart it must be oneway traffic. Give, give, give. Do not try to take. If there is giving and taking, they turn into two hearts. One heart alone.
The Body Itself Is a Temple
Keep the feeling of the one Ātma. Until this state of solitude comes, just do some sādhanas. Keep whatever feeling of the one Ātma you like. Do sādhana in many ways. There is no harm in it. But today people do sādhanas. What sādhanas do they do? They do worldly sādhanas. They keep turning the japamālā. The rosary turns, but the whole mind wanders. The hand keeps turning the rosary. The mind goes off to the market. What is this japa for?
