In plain words
Without society, where would you be? Where would your family be? We must keep wishing for the welfare of society. We must keep hoping for the growth of society. ‘Not by karma, not by progeny, not by wealth; through sacrifice alone have some attained immortality.’ We must enter into sacrifice. Ourselves, our body, our wealth, our actions: in all of them a broad feeling must come. This is nowhere to be seen. This Kali age is merely turning into an age of quarrels, or into an age of impurity; divine feelings are not seen at all. Within a few days: water pollution, food pollution, pollution of the atmosphere. Life itself is turning into a pollution. A life lived in this pollution takes shape only as pollution; how can purity come? Samyak dṛṣṭi, samyak śravaṇa, samyak vāk, samyak hṛdaya, samyak karma: these alone are what matter. We must make the right effort to make these five elements worthwhile. Whenever they look, the eyes have nothing but an evil gaze. Whatever the ears hear, they hear only evil intentions. Samyak dṛṣṭi does not come. That is precisely why the Buddha taught it. When you cultivate samyak dṛṣṭi, a samyak hṛdaya is formed. When samyak bhāva grows, a samyak society grows. If you want a good society, first of all you must keep your vision under control. This vision itself is creation. If the vision is bad, the whole of creation is bad. So the śāstra began from the eyes. Creation began from vision. The root cause of creation becoming tainted today is vision itself. Whoever you look at with a bad eye, the feeling is bad and nothing else. This is not good.
Embodiments of Prema!
Man is the embodiment of Prema. Prema itself is his true form. Without Prema he cannot live for even a moment. Man, who is such an embodiment of Prema, is pushing Prema away from himself. What is the use? Love is God. Live in Love. God means the Paramātma. The Paramātma is the embodiment of Prema. Only when Prema is present is God present.
