Passage 3

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

Ga means Buddhi. Ṇa means Jñāna. Gaṇapati is the very lord of Jñāna and Vijñāna. To worship Gaṇapati, the lord of this Jñāna and Vijñāna, is the very worship of Gaṇapati. Gaṇapati too is a whole host of energies. Not only this: He is the one who is lord over all the gaṇas. In another form they have been calling Him Vināyaka. He has no other leader. He alone is the leader of all. In another form they have been calling this very one Vighneśvara. Vighneśvara means the leader of all aiśvaryas, the very form of every aiśvarya. All of them too are nothing but forms of energy.

All the Aiśvaryas

What are these aiśvaryas, all of them? Śabda-Brahman, all that moves and does not move, all that is light, all that is learning, all that is atoms: all are nothing but the powers of this atom. All that is light, too, is the very form of the atom. Where is this light? It flows in every living being in the form of electrical energy. There is no living being to be seen in the world without this electrical energy. So the body of every living being is itself a kind of generator. We do not have to make a special effort to get electrical energy. This whole body is only the very form of a magnet. From a magnet only magnetism comes, and nothing else. Their forms, however, may differ, but the energy is one and the same. Whether the bulb lights, the fan turns, the stove cooks or the machine works, the current is one and the same. Call it electrical energy, call it light energy, heat energy, magnetic energy, laser energy, or call it by any name at all: this magnetic action has been teaching about the divine power alone. The word that is spoken, the sight that is seen, the sound that is heard, the step that is walked, the food that is eaten, the water that is drunk: all are nothing but marks of electrical energy. In this water there is a power called Baḍabāgni. That very thing is electrical energy. In the very water that puts out fire, the water able to quench it, this electrical energy too lies hidden within. So all is filled with Brahman; this whole world is filled with Brahman. This very thing they called the world filled with Viṣṇu. So we must put away the differences that say Gaṇapati is separate, Viṣṇu is separate, Śiva is separate, Śakti is separate, man is separate.
