In plain words
It took a period of a thousand years to recognise this atomic energy. But long ago, Prahlāda the boy, Prahlāda the student, recognised it in those very days.
‘That He is here and not there, have no doubt: the Wielder of the Discus is everywhere; wherever you search and look, there, there indeed He is,’
he concluded for himself. Prahlāda made no investigations and no examinations of any kind. To a citta that is pure and unwavering, everything shows itself as the very form of Satya.
Subtler than the atom and yet becoming the atom, vaster than the vast, He shines by Himself; the Ātma itself is the atom, and the atom itself becomes the Ātma.
The student, the boy who recognised this truth, was Prahlāda. The whole world, which rests on this, is filled with God alone; it is the very form of God. Atomic energy alone flows in every substance. Nowhere do we find a thing without this atom, a place without the atom, an atom or a form. All substances are the very form of the atom. In this world every person is himself a small generator. The magnetism in him is what turns into electrical energy. Only by the working of energy is a man able to walk and able to speak. He is able to hear, able to eat. The heart of every man is nothing but a radio source. The energy of every man is only atomic energy. On this very basis Einstein declared that matter and energy are both one and the same. Through scientific research of this kind, it has in the end amounted to saying that the whole universe is filled with Brahman alone. But they changed the names. The scientists said, “Filled with the atom.” The Vedāntins said, “Filled with Brahman.” What science has said and what the saint has said are one and the same; there is no difference at all. Here we have the word Gaṇapati.
