In plain words
So love is God. Live in love. A man without Prema is like a corpse in the burning-ground. So you are indeed full of Prema, indeed the embodiment of Prema. You are indeed the rightful master of Prema. With such Prema close at hand, why should you fall into suffering? Because we foster attachment to the body, Prema is going through changes of this kind: the body. What is this body?
The body made of the five elements is frail; when it will be left, no one knows; they have set its limit at a hundred years, but do not trust that word in your heart; in childhood, or in the prime of youth, or in old age, or in extreme old age, in a village, in a forest, or in the midst of water, where it will be left, no one knows.
Why should we hold so much delusion over a body like this? Yet as long as it is there, we must look after the body. It is like a chariot for making a journey. That too we simply have to look after. But man today puts the chariot in front. He puts the horse behind. This is exactly why our journey has turned upside down. Reverse. We must put the horse in front and the cart behind. We must give the mind the very first place. The second we must give to the body. But now we are not doing this at all. We are giving food to the body. What food are you giving the mind? What nourishment are you offering for the strength of the mind? We are not giving the horse food. The horse is getting weak. The cart is getting heavier. How is this cart to be pulled? Just as we feed the body four times a day, so too we must feed the mind four times. In the early morning, the thought of God. That is the very breakfast fit for God. As soon as you rise at dawn, you must do dhyāna, think of God, pray to God and sing bhajans to God.
