In plain words
For those who keep contemplating God, that itself is the great happiness and Mokṣa. There is no heaven beyond that. They have been living such a life of sacrifice. Because such teachers are there, Muddenahalli and Alike are today growing in every field. People come here from the two places, have Swami's darśan and go back. Swami's Prema is itself their great strength. It is in the very interviews Swami gives them that they gain the strength they need. So because Swami's close relationship and bond with them goes on like this from time to time, they are growing so strong. The close relationship between this Swami and them is a relationship of the heart alone, not a relationship of the body. Heart to heart. Love to love. When I speak with them even once, they overflow with such joy. Now and then, when I come and go to Bangalore, I go to Muddenahalli. When I go there and see, not only the teachers but even the little children do not drink even water, though it is three o'clock. They go on standing in the sun, watching. And when I set off again after seeing to things, they are standing there too. If I say, ‘My dears, little children, go and have your meal and come back,’ they say, ‘We don't need a meal.’ ‘Just by seeing You our stomachs are full,’ they say. Such are the students there, filled with that much Bhakti and surrender. The root cause of all this is nothing but the changes the teachers bring about, all of these. They are giving the children training of this kind. Giving training alone is not enough. They must have that source with them. This is not just like a military force. It is not something done by force. It is something that grows through Prema bound to the heart.
Action Without Desire for Its Fruit
If there is Prema alone, we can achieve anything at all. Prema itself is God. The world itself is God. The heart itself is God, happiness itself is God. Everything is God alone. It is only because they forget such Prema that people fall into so many troubles. What we must earn today is the strength of Prema, not the strength of money.
