In plain words
Whatever work they do, they want Ānanda in it. This Ānanda is not outside. Recognise this well. Ānanda is right within us. To try to search somewhere else for the Ānanda that is within us is madness. Seek right within yourself. Great Ānanda is found right within yourself. That is why God is the embodiment of eternal Ānanda, the embodiment of the Ānanda of Advaita. In this humanness there is eternal Ānanda. Student life is a very long life. You are travelling in the train called society. All the elders get off at the next station, the next station. Young boys' is a long journey; they are going farther still. On the train journey, you yourselves will go through the comforts and the discomforts. Develop society into a good society. Keep that society pure. Because you live right in it. You travel right in it. So we must make it pure. Then you can travel any distance. It is not possible to ask the elders to do it. Their bodies have grown old. They will get off at the next station or the second station. Whatever happens to the train, what is it to them? It is the young who must think about this today. This train must run well. You must see to it that there is more comfort. You must keep the train clean. Hopes of this kind must grow in the children themselves. The students' is a long journey. Long life. Healthy life. Peaceful life. Where do this happy, peace come from? They come from God alone. So never, at any time, forget God. You will lack nothing. One who trusts in God will lack nothing. If that faith is not steady but goes in bumps, jumps, he falls into trouble. Slow and steady wins the race. Which race? Not horse race, life race. In this we will have great success. Students, teachers! Tomorrow I will arrange a special meeting for the students and teachers and speak with them specially. I hope to speak specially with the Muddenahalli students and teachers. The children too hope to speak. All of tomorrow I will give the chance to them alone.
