In plain words
You cannot believe in yourself. Then how can you believe in God? You have no faith in man, who has only four days to live; how will faith in Nārāyaṇa come? Prahlāda was the one who believed in Nārāyaṇa alone. Hiraṇyakaśipu was the one who believed in the human body. He did not believe in Nārāyaṇa. For those who believe like that, God's protection keeps coming in every circumstance.
Embodiments of Prema!
Through Prema Anything Can Be Achieved
You are all nothing but embodiments of Prema. Because Prema is in you. You are the embodiment of love. You are the embodiment of peace. You are the embodiment of God. You yourself are God. You yourself are Satya. You yourself are Prema. You yourself are Śānti. You yourself are all of it. If you go looking in the outside world for the Śānti that is in you, the Prema that is in you, where will you find it? The Ajñāna of man today is such that you search for God in the outside world. Nowhere in the outside world is He found. Wanting Śānti, we roam the whole world. We go round the temples. We make many pilgrimages. There is no peace in the places of pilgrimage. There is no peace in the outside world. Wherever you look, pieces no peace. Where is peace. Peace is in you with you. That Śānti is in you yourself. Search for it within. Only then will you gain Śānti. What is the way to gain it? That itself is the path of Prema. Only when you develop that Prema into pure Prema can you achieve anything. That Prema itself is God. God is Love live in Love. Through this Prema we can achieve anything at all. When there is no Prema, you can achieve nothing. Through Prema alone you must attain divinity. Through Prema alone you must know yourself. For this Prema you need not run after anyone. You need not labour anywhere. Turn your gaze within. Then you will find the true principle of Prema. We must regard all as parts of God. To recognise that supreme Satya, this was taught: ‘Mamaivāṃśo jīvaloke jīvabhūta ssanātanaḥ.’
