In plain words
What is the use? Such is the life man is leading. What is the ideal for life, that he abandons. He goes into what is not needed. Do not do so. What you must do is recognise your own true nature yourself. There is no place greater than the heart. Wherever you look, it is always the heart. What is it? Hṛt + dayā. What is joined with dayā is the heart. What is joined with karuṇā is the heart. What is joined with compassion is the heart. Where is that compassion in us? Fashion is changing, but there is no compassion. What is this fashion? Is this the fashion for life? If there is compassion, that itself is the true fashion. We must develop that compassion. We must develop mankind. What does mankind mean? We must develop kindness. What man must have is kindness. Without that kindness he is not a man but a demon. Today even demons show a little kindness. But in man today that kindness is not seen. Then what is the use?
Words, Feelings and Actions Must Be Pure
Mankind. We use foolish, foolish English words. In this English, one does not know what to pronounce where, or what is what. One does not know which words to use where. It goes as it pleases. It says "puṭ" for put. It says "baṭ" for but. With such a language we are being spoiled so much. Our language of Bhārata is Sanskrit. That itself is the sacred, sweet language. That is the very essence of milk. Its words are soft and sweet. Only then will man's heart be full of compassion. You cann't always oblige but you can speak always obligingly. Only then, compassion. When there is no Prema in such words, what is the use of speaking?
