In plain words
But valuables are hidden away only in a useless iron box. The body that shows outside is a worthless thing. God has hidden all the precious things inside this worthless body. He is handing you inexhaustible wealth. He has hidden precious wealth for your sake. But you are not making the effort it takes to enjoy it. O mad one, however much you want, it is with Me; come! Why do you crave petty desires? If you offer up all your desires, I will give you things of value. What diamonds He will give, how precious a thing He will give, how much Advaita He will give! You must want Ānanda: Advaita-ānanda, Sat-Cit-Ānanda, Prema-ānanda, Viśiṣṭa-ānanda; Ānanda has no limit at all. There is no measure to it at all. When He is ready to give you such Ānanda without measure, why do you crave a measured Ānanda? You need not ask for small and trifling things. Stand in a wonderful way. He Himself gives everything. But for that offering there must be a fitness. A certain kind of faith must grow. When there is no such faith, the offering does not come about. However many kinds of effort are made, what is the use?
Many people are great scholars at one time or another. They read through so many books. They learn so many things. What is the use of learning them?
Reading all learning and growing very discerning, the dull-witted man does not know himself within; however much learning he learns, however he lives, the base man cannot give up his bad quality; pore over learning as he may, it is only argument, he never gains full Jñāna; why learn and learn and learn, only to die? Learn the learning that has no death.
