In plain words
He is in song. He is in speech. What is everywhere is God Himself. He is in the right means, He is in the crooked means. What is in everything is God Himself. To attain this God, what is right must be the fit means; the crooked means must not be used. We must keep to this yoga of the fit means. Only then will you be able to attain true divinity.
Embodiments of Prema! You rejoice that the number of these Pāda Pūjās grows year after year. On the path of pravṛtti this is natural. But I have no wish that it should grow. The Pādukās need not grow in number. The feeling for the Pādukās must grow. A small example. Those who came for these Pāda Pūjās are still entering only into the worldly. They do not realise that what God longs for is only pure Prema and a steady citta. Wondering whether Swami might eat, they brought trays full of murukkus and nippaṭṭus and put them in that room. The whole Pūrṇacandra hall stands filled with nothing but these eatables. Do these people think I am Kumbhakarṇa? I do not eat even rice. In such a situation, why did they bring these eatables? To set this right, to sort out all the fruit, we shall have to put children to it for some fifteen days. Within that time all this fruit will rot. Do not take it on yourselves as a duty to bring such things. What I want is Prema. Just this is enough: to love wholeheartedly. Some others brought a towel, a bed sheet. Why do I need all these? If you do want to bring something, bring a bed sheet. It can be given to the Hospital, and that is good. Do not bring even that because Swami said so. I expect nothing. What I look for is one thing, only one. That is none other than pure, steady, selfless Prema. In Me there is no selfishness anywhere. From nail to the tip of the hair there is no selfishness. I have no wish to want anything. When there is no wish, why bring all these and set them before Me? Still, Shetty is a supreme devotee. He is putting this kind of burden on Me. Yesterday he showed Me a chariot. I have no liking at all for chariots and the like. My chariot is your heart itself. While your sacred heart is there, why do I need this golden chariot? Today again they have brought what they call a throne. They do not tell Me until they have put it in Prasanthi Nilayam.
