Passage 20

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

There are those who were ruined for not trusting, but none was ever ruined for trusting: so the wise have said; listen to their word, leave your doubt and come to Sai.

But unfortunately many are being ruined because they do not trust. And how are they ruined, at that. They fall as if falling down from a very great mountain. They are falling headlong. But those who trusted are carried even from the nether world to Vaikuṇṭha. That is why trust is so very important. We must win faith through Prema alone. All that is seen becomes the seer. So all this that is seen, every bit of it, has come only from the seer. That is why you must achieve it through that Prema alone; these past four days people came from the villages of Andhra. They went their way experiencing all this as a kind of Vaikuṇṭha. The village folk are very innocent; they are all people of pure heart, people of firm faith. Bhāratīya culture is still there, more or less, only in the villages. Truly, how great was the joy they felt? No one can describe it as like this or like that. That itself is true Bhakti. The joy of these people who came from Andhra melted, moved and stirred the hearts of all, every one, and they went. So, hoping that they will always experience divinity on the divine path, safe and well and full of joy, and blessing them, I bring My discourse to a close.
