Passage 11

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

For this body, everything may come, and may go. But the Ātma principle has no birth and no death. It has no reason, no season. So when you inquire well into the purity within the humanness of today, divinity is understood in a single moment. You too are just the same. Make your hearts pure. Foster divine Prema. In a single moment, light too will arise in you as well. Your reflection, reaction will take on a divine form.

God's Prema Is for Giving Alone, Not for Taking

I do not swell with pride because someone has praised Me. I do not sink because someone has reviled Me. In Me there is a oneness that neither swells nor sinks. I do not change in the least at abuse, praise or contempt. To that, Ānanda; to this, Ānanda. Both are your words; they do not concern Me. What is in Me is Prema alone. This Prema is only giving; there is no such thing as taking. You must recognise the difference between the Prema of this world and divine Prema. Worldly Prema is for taking, not for giving. But God's Prema is for giving, not for taking. Gives, gives... That itself is My principle of Prema. So it is growing into so vast a principle of Prema. ‘Aṇoraṇīyān mahatomahīyān.’ If you plant a small seed in the earth, it comes up as a plant. Now these branches, twigs, leaves and flowers are all from within this seed. All names and forms are in that seed itself. Therefore, Love is God, Live in love. You too, foster this Prema. Whoever you see, love everyone. Not worldly Prema, but the divine Prema of the heart. Only then will this divinity come forth from within you too, and arise. It becomes manifest. That is what they called self-realisation.

How does this self realisation come? First of all, you must develop self confidence. Self confidence is foundation; self satisfaction is wall; self sacrifice is roof; self realisation is life. Everything is in the self. Self means the Ātma principle.
