So, through this feeling of the Ātma, we must enter the spiritual principle. The power the Ātma principle has is to be seen nowhere else. There are many atom bombs and atomic-energy bombs. Greater than all of them is the one power of Prema. Prema changes haters, however many they are. Everyone yields to Prema. Everyone must foster such a principle of Prema. Only then will there be no hatred of one for another, whether in Bhārata or in any other country. Our Chavan said, ‘Wherever you look, violence, violence.’ Where does this violence come from? Man alone is the root cause of it. The bad intellect in man is the root cause of this violence. If we foster full Prema in man, there will be no room at all for violence. That is why I tell the children, ‘Start the day with love, fill the day with love, spend the day with love and end the day with love. This is the way to God.’ Go on fostering this Prema. Do not, instead, spoil the Prema you have.
All That Exists Is One Power; It Carries Out All Three, Creation, Preservation and Dissolution
Through these worldly studies, through worldly desires, through worldly bonds, people are spoiling Prema. God alone is the root cause of this creation, preservation and dissolution. But the one power takes on many names and forms. Look, Andhra Pradesh has one Chief Minister. But though the C.M. is one, he appoints someone as head of each department. That minister looks after the responsibility of that department. The C.M. looks after the unity of them all. If he looks after education, they call him the Education Minister. If he looks after health, they call him the Health Minister. But they do not name the C.M. Health or Education. They call him Chief Minister. In the same way, this whole world runs depending on three kinds of action. Any scientist, any engineer, any theist, any atheist, any theist-atheist, all must agree to this. The world runs by three actions. First, creation comes forth. The creation that has come forth is sustained. What has been sustained, He destroys again.
