In plain words
Unsteady is life in this world, unsteady are youth and wealth; unsteady are wife, sons and the rest; Satya and fame, these two, are steady.
What did man bring with him when he came, what does he take with him when he goes, at his birth, and at his death? Where does wealth go, and where does he himself go? Tell me, sirs, plainly.

Excessive Greed for Money and Power Ruin the Mind
In the world today the life of man is caught up in two kinds of madness. One is the madness of money, the second is the madness of power. The two are not separate. They are like the two halves of one seed. If you have money, you can acquire power. If you have power, you can acquire money. For a man who has the two together, it is sheer, boundless madness. In life, money is certainly needed. Power is needed too. But they must be kept within a limit. Excessive greed for money and excessive power ruin the mind. In this programme they spoke of finance management. What is this wealth? What does wealth mean? Is it merely currency notes? No, no. What we have earned is called wealth. Knowledge is wealth. Education is wealth. Health is wealth. Property is wealth. All these are things we have earned for ourselves. Without this wealth man cannot stand in the world even for a moment. Money is needed indeed.
