In plain words
The body itself is what blocks you from recognising such oneness. You have built yourselves a big house. In it the drawing room, the dining room, the bathroom and the rest all appear separate. Why? Because there are walls between them. If you knock down those walls, it all appears as a single room. In the same way, only when you knock down the dividing walls of attachment to the body will oneness appear to you.
The Government Must Bring In a System of Free Education
Since our Minister is here, I am going to say one thing. If you are to develop students on the right path, you must give them free education. In our educational institution there is no fee of any kind for students: no tuition fee, no examination fee, no games fee. They come here empty-handed; they carry away the stout bundle called Jñāna. Besides, they develop humility and faith. Education must foster humility. What is the reason that students outside today have lost their humility? They pay fees. That is exactly why they behave as they please. Officials are not in a position to say so much as a word to them. Besides, today in the educational institutions, the hermitages of Sarasvatī, Lakṣmī has planted herself and sits. Money for admission, money for attendance, money for examinations, and in the end money even to pass! My intention is this: it would be very good if the government gave students their education free. The government spends many crores. Merely by taking fees from students, they gain no increase of income. The expenses that arise are met all the same. So give education free. Through that the children will thrive. Today's ‘education’ is leading to ‘agitation’. Who is giving room to this? The government itself! The government must build up a close relationship with students. For this, giving free education is the only way. Ask any of our children: we do not take a naya paisa from anyone. Along with free education we also give scholarships to some. I tell you truly, our children are children like gold.
