In plain words
The Ānanda that is here is not in your home, not in your village, not in your state, not in your country. You yourselves keep coming here just to gain the Ānanda that is not there. You must install the divinity that gives such Ānanda securely in your heart. “Muṇḍe muṇḍe matirbhinnaḥ”: the feelings of each one are of their own kind. One may think a thing good. Another may think it bad. Good and bad are only the effect of your mind; Sai has no connection with them. Mine is the principle of Prema alone.
I see only Prema; I do not inquire at all into conduct or feelings. As your outlook is, just such feelings keep coming to you. I have no connection with them. My principle is ever Prema alone. What you have eaten is what comes back to you as a belch; what I have eaten does not come up in you, does it! So if bad feelings come to you, the fault is yours, not Mine. There are no bad thoughts of any kind in Me. All is pure, pure, pure! “The heart pure, the words pure, the deeds pure, all pure.”
All of You Are My Property!
This body has reached seventy-five years. Until now I have not asked anyone for anything. Yet so many great works are going on. How are all these going on? Am I earning anything? I have not a single naya paisa of property. But I have plenty of a property that no one knows of. What is it? All of you are My property! Who else has so much property? No one has. A property that is given and received has a limit, but to My property there is no limit at all. Mine is Unlimited Property. That is Prema. That very Prema draws so many people. If the sādhakas gathered here reflect on the things they have heard and put into practice some of them, if not all, the whole world will be the better for it. “Lokāssamastāssukhino bhavantu.” You must not wish that only you and your family should be happy; you must wish that all should be happy. If only you and your family are well, how can you live? For you to live there must at least be a village, must there not? The people of that village must be happy, must they not! I shall end with a little story about this.
