In plain words
But are you getting rid of the bad qualities in you? If not, what is the use of celebrating festivals? For having celebrated the festivals, your heart must become like a sweet ripe fruit.
Students! Yours is a tender age. On the train called society, you have a very long journey to make. The elders will get off at the next station or the one after, but you have a long journey to make. So keep your ‘compartment’ clean. Travel in comfort. Know the principle of the Ātma. Receive the fruit of grace. Install Rāma in your heart, keep the Name of Rāma in mind wholeheartedly, and make your life fruitful. Rāma dwells in every heart as the Ātma. That is why he came to be called Ātmārāma. The Ātma itself is the form of Brahman. So foster the faith: “I am Brahman.”
Rāma, Rāma, Rāma, Sītā, Rāma, Rāma, Rāma, Sītā.
Born in the glorious line of the Sun, who wed Sītā Devī with delight, who lifted Ahalyā's curse with Prema, Śrī Raghu, who protected His dear devotees: Rāma, Rāma!
Who slew Khara, Dūṣaṇa and the other demons, in compassion set right Jaṭāyu's end, protected Śarabhaṅga and the other great sages, and ate Śabarī's fruits with Prema: Rāma, Rāma!
Who slew Rāvaṇa and the other foes of the gods, with His beloved cared for the good, made all the gods sing His praise, and with the Devī reached His city, Śrī Raghu: Rāma, Rāma!
