In plain words

“They will. They will ring the bell on time. Do not worry about it at all,” I told her. Then she took My hand: “Swami! You can do the world very great good. You must bring about a transformation in the children above all, more than in the elders. There is no need to make the students great; it is enough to shape them into people of good character,” she said.

A little later Easwaramma: “Swami! Swami! Swami!” she called, three times. I said three times, “I am coming, I am coming, I am coming.” Without any struggle, she breathed her last. ‘Again birth, again death, again lying in a mother's womb.’ The body comes and goes. We need not grieve over it. I called the driver and told him to take her body in a van to Prasanthi Nilayam. I sent Rāmabrahmam too. He was a very good man. Whatever work Swami gave him, he did it with great care. Then Gokak and Bhagavantam came to Me and said that they had cancelled that day's classes. When I asked why, they said, “Mother has passed away, has she not!” “If she has died, she has died. Have all the children died? The classes must certainly go on today,” I said. They were astonished. At once they announced that the classes would go on that day as usual. I went to the class every day. But that day all the children wondered whether Swami would come or not. As I entered the class, they all shed tears. “In this world birth and death are only natural to all. The one who is born cannot escape death,” I said, and consoled them. In this way, it is because I have gone forward with firm resolve, withstanding obstacles and pushing them aside, that My fame and honour have kept growing.

Rāmabrahmam: “Swami! It would be good if You came too, would it not!” he said. “This is a worldly matter. I have nothing to do with it. I have seen her right here and blessed her. You take her there and bury her,” I told him. Rāmabrahmam did as he was told.
